On July 24, we stepped away from our usual production schedules, engineering discussions, and customer projects for a summer team trip to Conghua, Guangzhou.
After a two-hour drive from Shenzhen, we arrived shortly after 10 a.m. The sky was bright blue, the clouds were clear, and the summer sun was already strong. The weather was hot, but the energy of the team was even higher.
It was a day to slow down, enjoy time together, and experience the team spirit that supports everything we do.
A Colorful Morning in the Orchards
Our first stop was the dragon fruit orchard.
Rows of green branches stretched across the field, with bright red dragon fruits hanging between them. Under the strong sunlight, the red fruit, green leaves, and blue sky created a colorful summer scene.
We walked between the rows and looked carefully for ripe fruit. Some team members picked the dragon fruits, some held the branches, and some carried the baskets, or took photos.
It was hot work, but no one seemed to mind. The orchard was filled with smiles, laughter, and the excitement of finding another perfect fruit.
After that, we moved on to the passion fruit orchard.
The vines grew across the frames above us, creating patches of shade beneath the leaves. Round passion fruits were hidden among the vines. Some were still green, while others had turned dark purple and were ready to pick.
Everyone searched through the leaves and filled the baskets one fruit at a time. As the baskets became heavier, someone was always ready to help carry them or pass around drinking water.
It felt natural because this is also how we work.
Different people take care of different tasks, but we always support one another and move toward the same result.
Sharing a Local Lunch
After a hot morning in the orchards, it was time for lunch.
We sat down together and enjoyed bamboo rice and other local dishes. When the bamboo tubes were opened, warm steam rose with the fresh smell of rice and bamboo.
The food was simple, local, and delicious.
Without meetings, computers, or project schedules in front of us, everyone could slow down, share food, and talk about life outside work.
These relaxed moments matter.
A strong team is not built only during meetings or busy projects. It also grows through everyday care, shared experiences, and the feeling that everyone belongs.
Finding Our Balance on the Water
In the afternoon, we changed into life jackets and headed to the water for paddleboarding.
The sun was still strong, but the water looked cool and inviting. A light breeze moved across the surface, offering a welcome break from the summer heat.
For many of us, standing on a paddleboard was a new challenge.
At first, the boards moved with every small change in balance. Some people stayed seated while they became comfortable. Others slowly stood up, paddle in hand, and tried to move forward.
There were a few falls, plenty of splashes, and even more laughter.
Whenever someone lost balance, a teammate was nearby to steady the board or offer a hand. Those who learned faster shared what worked with the others. No one was left to figure it out alone.
Soon, the boards began moving smoothly across the water.
Some people paddled side by side. Others sat with their feet in the cool water, enjoying the breeze and the sunlight sparkling on the surface.
Paddleboarding reminded us of something simple: balance does not mean never falling.
It means being willing to try again—and knowing that someone will be there to help you back up.

Metal or ceramic injection molding is a process made up of many connected steps. A reliable result depends on each step working well with the next.
Our team works in much the same way.
A customer project may begin with a drawing or an idea, but it takes communication, engineering, mold development, production, inspection, and project support to turn that idea into a finished part.

We returned to Shenzhen with more than fresh fruit and happy memories.
We returned with a stronger sense of connection and a fresh reminder of what makes a good team.
